A Capabilities

Five ways to put this team to work.

01

General Contracting

Full-scope delivery for commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional projects. Covenant manages the schedule, the budget, and the trades so the owner has one point of accountability from notice to proceed through closeout.

  • Ground-up commercial construction
  • Competitive bid and negotiated work
  • Schedule and budget ownership
  • Trade management and quality control
02

Design-Build

A single contract covering design and construction. Budget, schedule, and constructability are aligned from day one, which removes the gaps where projects usually slip.

  • One contract, one responsible party
  • Architect and engineer coordination
  • Cost certainty earlier in the process
  • Faster path from concept to permit
03

Preconstruction

Estimating, value engineering, scheduling, and planning before the first shovel. Problems get surfaced while they are still cheap to solve, not after they are poured.

  • Conceptual and detailed estimating
  • Value engineering with real alternatives
  • Constructability review
  • Site and permitting guidance
04

Construction Management

For owners who want control with experienced oversight. Covenant runs the project, manages the trades, and protects the schedule and budget on the owner's behalf.

  • CM agency and at-risk structures
  • Owner representation
  • Transparent reporting and pay apps
  • Multi-prime coordination
05

Tenant Improvements

Build-outs and renovations that turn a shell or an aging space into a working environment, delivered with minimal disruption to operations next door.

  • White-box and full build-outs
  • Occupied-space renovation
  • Brand and prototype adaptation
  • Fast-track schedules

C How We Work

A clear path from idea to keys.

Every Covenant project moves through the same disciplined process. No mystery, no drift.

01

Listen

The budget, the program, the site, the deadline. We start with what the building has to do.

02

Price

Preconstruction defines scope and cost before commitments are made. Problems surface while they are cheap.

03

Build

One team manages the trades and the schedule, with the owner kept current the whole way through.

04

Deliver

A clean closeout, a walkthrough that holds up, and a building that performs years down the road.

D Questions

What owners ask first.

Do you work with out-of-state owners and developers?

Yes. Many of our clients build in the River Valley from somewhere else. Covenant acts as their single local point of accountability: site knowledge, local subcontractor relationships, permitting experience, and one team responsible from preconstruction through closeout.

Can you build to a national brand prototype?

Yes. We deliver site-adapted prototype buildings to brand spec for banks, franchises, and national operators, including the coordination with corporate construction teams those projects require.

Which areas do you serve?

Covenant is based in Fort Smith, Arkansas and serves the Arkansas River Valley, Northwest Arkansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. In the River Valley that means Fort Smith, Van Buren, Greenwood, Barling, Alma, Charleston, Cedarville, Clarksville, and the communities around them. In Northwest Arkansas: Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville. In Eastern Oklahoma: Poteau, Sallisaw, and Spiro.

What project delivery methods do you offer?

General contracting, design-build under a single contract, construction management, and negotiated work. We help owners pick the structure that fits the project rather than forcing one model.

How early should we bring Covenant in?

As early as possible, ideally while the budget and site are still in motion. Preconstruction is where cost problems get solved cheaply. A conversation before the design is finished routinely saves multiples of what it costs.

What size projects does Covenant take on?

Most of Covenant's work falls between $250K and $15M: tenant build-outs and remodels at one end, ground-up construction at the other.
