Work inside a plant that has run since 1970.

Rheem's Fort Smith plant produced its first unit in August 1970 and is the headquarters of Rheem's U.S. air conditioning business, with about 900 employees. In November 2022 Rheem announced a $20 million expansion adding 100 jobs, more production capacity, a new facility entrance, and an Innovation Learning Center; the center opened in October 2023 with more than 3,700 square feet of showroom and classroom space and 7,000 square feet of conference and office space. The plant marked 55 years in Fort Smith in 2025.
