Mercy Crest is an assisted and independent living community on 19 acres in Barling, sponsored by the Religious Sisters of Mercy and dedicated in 1992. In October 2024 Mercy Crest opened a memory care unit in the former McAuley Convent, which the Sisters vacated in 2021: 20 private rooms in two wings of ten, a secured unit with its own dining, activity, and covered patio areas, plus offices, a doctor's office, training rooms, and guest quarters in the same building.
Covenant Commercial Construction delivered the project as general contractor in 2024 at a contract value of $694K.
